More Than Just an “I Do.”

Hi, I'm Carla, the heart behind Amor Celebrant, also known as The Love Officiant.

I'm a hopeless romantic, and someone who genuinely loves bringing people together. My journey as a wedding celebrant began in 2016 when I officiated a friend's wedding. What I didn't know then was just how much this path would come to mean to me.

After a life-changing experience, I made a promise to myself to spend more of my life doing things that bring happiness, both to me and to others. Officiating weddings became so much more than something I do. It's something I truly love.

Originally from Portugal, I have a special appreciation for different cultures, languages, and traditions. One of my favorite parts of this work is discovering what makes each couple's story their own, meeting the people who matter to them, and sharing in the laughter, happy tears, and unexpected moments along the way.

I'm friendly, down-to-earth, and believe a little humor can go a long way, especially when wedding nerves kick in! But behind that relaxed approach are years of experience, attention to detail, and someone who will genuinely have your back.

I'll listen, ask questions you might not have thought of, offer guidance when things feel overwhelming, and happily connect you with trusted wedding professionals when needed. Most importantly, I want you to feel heard, respected, and completely comfortable being yourselves, without judgment or expectations.

Whether you're planning a simple legal ceremony, an intimate elopement, or a celebration with everyone you love, what matters to me isn't the size of your wedding. It's making sure your ceremony feels right for you.
